Royal Langnickel Soft Grip Embossing Stylus
This is a must for sculptures to stand freely in poses not possible any other
way. The brass tube is attached to the leg or arm of an armature and then
clay is sculpted around it in the normal way.
The rod is inserted into the display base of choice. When the sculpture is
completed, insert the tube end onto the rod...your sculpture will stand!
Tube and tube can be used when sculpting hands and heads separately
and then attached to your armature later and polymer clay added to blend in
the hand and arm. You can also turn hands to the desired position without
damaging them.
Rod and Tube is sold in 12 inch long pieces.

For cutting rods, I recommend using a cutting wheel disk made for a dremel tool. It will make a clean end cut without the need to reshape.

Small hobby tube cutter will work to cut the larger tube & tube. It's
simple to use. Place the tube in the V and turn the thumb screw until it stops on the
tube. Then gently turn the cutter in a circular motion around the tube and then tighten the
thumbscrew again and turn the cutter again. Continue to tighten the thumbscrew and
then turning the cutter until the tube is completely cut.
This tool is not recommended for cutting rods

Sculpey Clay Softener
Is used for reconstituting polymer clay products which have become less
pliable due to warm storage conditions, or to soften the standard
consistency of products. Add a few drops to any brand of polymer clay
and knead. Sculpey Clay Softener is also great for smoothing out tool
marks and fingerprints left in clay from handling.
Sculpey Diluent can also be used as a polymer "glue" by brushing it onto
the sides you wish to join together.
