OOAK Artist Emporium - Parawire Craft Wire

I am pleased to carry the Parawire line of decorative wire.
Parawire is the highest quality of craft wire. I use this wire for all
my Wycked Wings and various other creations. This wire is
widely used to make elaborate Fairy Crowns and embellishing
polymer clay sculptures.

Great for jewelry wrapping! Use beads and wire imaginatively to
make the most fabulous jewelry, including earrings, necklaces,
bracelets, pendants.

Permanently colored wire with polynylon enamel coating can be bent and twisted with confidence.

Armature wire

This wire is great for polymer clay sculpture. The wire is cotton covered which
eliminates the need to wrap the wire in white floral tape. Wire comes in 3 ft lengths
and is flexible, but not flimsy.

This is like the white cotton covered wire used in floral arrangements only much
thicker.

There are three sizes available.

20 gauge - for sculptures 4-7 inches tall
18 gauge - for sculptures 8-12 inches tall (2 pieces needed for larger armatures)
16 gauge - for sculptures 12-18 inches tall (2 - 3 pieces needed for large
armatures)

Aluminum Armature wire. 14 gauge, 32 foot coil. This wire is soft and easily
bendable, yet strong. It's the perfect size for sculptures 5 - 9 inches in size. It
can be doubled and twisted at the limbs for extra strength on larger projects.
1/16 of an inch thick.

Aluminum doesn't tarnish or rust.

White floral tape is perfect for covering wire armatures.
This tape is stretchable, flexible and only 1/2 inch wide,
small enough to make turns and bends without
bulking up. White floral tape will prevent the darker
wire from showing through under thinner applications
of polymer clay, like wrists and ankles...anywhere the
clay is usually thinner.
